Poike Volcano is located here on this peninsula in northwestern Rapa Nui.

Several smaller volcanic cones, hills can be found here.

The ground is interestingly reddish in this area. Due to erosion the cliffs are very high, dangerous to walk to the edges. There is less vegetation and fewer archaeological sites.
