A beautiful a frequently visited beach, just southeast of
Anakena Beach
(which is another great place to visit). You can also see a cave near Ovahe. Looking out of it you will see the Pacific Ocean... As for the moai... there aren't any very close, but if you take a walk towards Anakena (or a ride on the road, which is good enough for cars), you can get to Ahu Nau Nau. Overall, we can say that Ovahe is not a bad place to spend some time. But you must see Anakena, which is better, more beautiful and romantic even. You can get to this beach on the main road which leads there. It is far away from Hanga Roa, best choice is to hire a car. Location on the map
