There is a wall at Ahu Vinapu that resembles Inca architecture. If you travel to Peru and see the walls at Ollantaytambo, for instance, you will be surprised how much they are alike. Could the Incas have come to Rapa Nui and show/teach the islanders how to build these walls? Look on the image on the left... Similar techniques were used by the Incas in Machu Picchu, Cuzco, Sacsayhuamán, Tiahuanaco, etc. So far nobody could give a rational explanation why it is so. Fantasies and speculative stories about "aliens" exist, but these are rather made to sell and have no scientific basis. Perhaps the Inca civilization did have some contact with the Rapa Nui people.
